Watering eye

I had eye lid surgery.  Then had problems with wearing contacts so Dr.
said dry eye and was going to insert smart plugs.  Well that was done
in Feb. He then did some correction on left eye in March.  Eyes
seemed Ok until May when left eye started watering excessively
and I am constantly wiping it.  Seems to let up when I remove
contact and wear glasses.  It does not stop completely but is better
than when I have contact in.

Do you suppose that if they removed the plugs the excessive watering would go away.  They were not this bad before the plugs.
Thanks

I think it may be any type of infection after eye lid surgery. I think you should ask to your doctor and tell him about your problem.

Thanks for your comment.  I have seen a Dr. since I posted and he has prescribed a med for inflammation for 2 weeks.  I hope this does it.  However, both eyes are still watering.  Cant wear contacts at all for first week of treatment.  They dont water as badly without contacts.

You may have some irritation from the surgery.  Ask your doctor about this.
