Weird changes in sight

Hello, I have some new weird changes in my right operated eye. Three operations were done for RD, with silicone oil. Third operation was because there was little fluid under the retina (or something like that). First one was almost a year ago...
What's strange? Well when I stare at white wall, I can see something that is looking like blood vessel, I shows up and dissapears... next strange thing is when I close my eye, I can see something like golden light going from one side to another or from lower right corner to upper right corner of my vision. And that is when there is lot of light and I close my eye... Sometimes there are shimmering lights that last for a few minutes...
And one more thing, sometimes when I get up quickly or in strange position and get up, I can see something like TV snow in my inner peripheral vision... That i have from the beginning of that third operation... But other changes I started to see in last week or so.

Can it be because silicon oil is in my eye for foru months and its starting to do some side effects or hat? I haven't noticed any change in vision like curtain, loosing sight, blur, or something like that.

Oh and I should mention that there is cataract present and lens is blurry (I don't know how you call that in USA, in my language doctors say's its blurry and need to be replaced)

Should I go to my surgeon ASAP or is it normal and go to visit him at the end of this month when I have appointment with him?

If you will use the search feature and archives to read about RD with silicone oil you will see people notice all sorts of shapes, figures, curves, lines, reflexes. Generally the things that are worrisome are sudden pain, redness, sensitivity to light or a dramatic worsening of vision.

If you can't speak with your surgeon perhaps the staff can answer you?

At least call your surgeon's office and discuss with his staff. YOu may need to be seen earlier.

Thank you doctor on your quick reply, I will go to see my surgeon tomorrow maybe, or next week, as I can't get him on phone, I could get Obama quicker on phone than him :D

But if you had to say this in theory, and from your experience, could this be normal... At least these I don't know how to call them, some kind of golden light looking like boomerang, and travelling from one side to another?

Thx, but there is freedom in Croatia for more than 15 years now, it's very beautiful place to visit, you should come in summer time, you wont regret it :)
