I have been on it for about a year now. My eyelashes started growing well to where I noticed around 6 months even my Ophthalmologist noticed. But unless you need this for medical use I would not recommend it for you. There is too many "what ifs" there are some side effects in people like burning, itching, redness to name a few. Its best to just put fake ones (sterile) on rather than risk a side effect that could have been avoided using a drop that is meant for people with glaucoma.
It is an off label use. If you're skeptical pass on it.

I've got really sensitive eyes.Do you really think generic latanaprost 'll work for me? Will it be safe (without side effects)? Will I get what I want? I am just being skeptic. Please tell me about it in details and also mention how long 'll it take to work.Where or how can I buy it (non USA)?
There is no way to deal with this properly without seeing an ophthalmologist.
Never put your fingers on your eyelashes.
I'm not recommending this only relating what I've heard is being done especially in non USA.
You can buy generic latanaprost for about $15-20 USD. That's a six week supply. Latisse goes for about $100-150 USD per bottle.

Well, I used to pull on my eyelashes to clean them but i stopped after I knew that it was causing my eyelashes to fall out. I dont think thats because of any disorder.I just find one or two eyelashes lying on my cheeks after I wash my face.Sometimes it is more than two. This bugs me a lot. Is it because of lack of nutrition? What can I do for this? Lattisse will be really really expensive for me:(.. I want something that is very effective, safe and affordable(cheap). Anyways, thank you for your advice! Any more help by anyone 'll be greatly approved. Wish me luck so that I can solve my problems fast!!!
You need to see an ophthalmologist Eye MD to be sure you do not have eyelid problems (blepharitis, styes, chalazions, etc.) You need to be honest with yourself and ask if you pull or pluck your eyelashes; that is a disorder called trichotilomania.
If the answer is you have none of these conditions there is a medication to make eyelashes grow full, thick and long. For eyelash grown it's called "Lattisse"; it's exactly the same medication as in the glaucoma drop "Lumigan". Although it's not an approved use I've heard that some people are using generic latanoprost (formerly sold as the brand name Xalataon) for the same purpose because its much cheaper.
