What could be causing solid objects to vibrate?

This isn't so much a problem, just something I've been wondering about. For as long as I can remember, my vision has been vibrating. I used to think it was normal, but my family tells me it's not. The best way to describe it is like looking at a pile of ants. Everything that's supposed to be solid seems to be crawling. The edges of solid objects are a little fuzzy. But there is no tilting or full vision vibrating.
I do have anxiety/paranoia problems and migraines, but this has been going on literally since I was a small child.
Does anyone else experience this or know what might cause it?

You should start with a complete medical eye exam by a MD physician trained in eye disease and surgery (ophthalmologist).  Since it's been going on as long as you can remember it doesn't seem to represent any progressive serious problem.

I figured that would be the response. I'd just never thought to ask a doctor because, like I said, I thought it was normal up until recently. Thank you for the suggestion.
