What do I expect?

I am having a Superficial Keratectomy done soon on my eye because I have "EBMD"
I am not really sure how much pain to expect.  And this bandage contact will I be able to
see?  Are people going to be able to notice I had something done?  I have a pretty big event to go to
the following day.  I don't want to be noticed for that.

Are you going to have it scraped off with a instrument or removed with an Eximer laser? The amount of pain is variable anywhere from no pain to pain severe enough to require prescription pain medication. The bandage lens has gone a long way to relieve pain, speed healing and improve vision while healing. You eye may be red and sensitive to light after the procedure. There is a possiblity you will not feel like going to that big event. Make plans accordingly.
