What else can cause glacoma optic nerve besides glacoma

I was recently diagnosed with a optic nerve under pressure like in glaucoma. However when he checked my pressures they were normal. I do not suffer any visual problems except when I'm tired. Then things get like tunnel vision. When I asked about what else could cause this , the doctor said "a brain tumor." I said "Great."
When I asked my primary about it he did not seem to think it was anything to worry about. I don't go back to the eye doctor til next year. So my question is "What else can cause a glaucomic optic nerve?"

It can be a normal variant.  It is like asking someone if 150 pounds is an overweight person.  It depends on his height, build, etc.  There are additional test that can be done to see if this pathological.  It is very unlikely to be due to a brain tumor without other symptoms.

An optic nerve that's lit up like a 100 watt bulb and the other one is about 75 watts and 40 watts is normal. My eye Doc explained that it was like when you press on your skin and the skin blanches. Can that really be considered a normal variant? The eye Doc will continue to monitor the situation and I will update as I learn more about this condition.
