Floaters Only Vitrectomy is not considered standard of care in the US. I cannot recommend the procedure because the risk of the procedure far outweighs the benefit in most cases in my opinion. Most people deal with floaters very well and they are VERY, VERY
commonCommon cold. Some people just get desperate and will do anything. From what I have learned this is just a vitrectomy - how else would you be able to remove cloudy vitreous.
