What to eye to help heal thrid nerve eye palsy

I developed a thrid eye nerve pasly when to emergency room was kept in hopital for three days I was rold I had thrid eyebnerve pasly My left eye ilead is close  I can see out of my left just not as good as before I have a major eye drop which cause me double vision  Does this condition correct it self with time I so upset I ca bearly function with my left eye if anyone can tell mewhat to do to help please I ask you to E-mail me back please please help me

Read the sections on 3rd nerve (oculomotor) nerve paralysis on WebMD and www.emedicine.   Real question is what caused it, some causes are very serious.

Some cases improve, mild cases may get back to normal, some cases are permanent.  The problems droopy lid, double vision, dilated pupil are very difficult to treat.  Probably no one will do anything for 4 or so months to see how much you get better.  After that you may need the services of a eye muscle (strabismus) ophthalmologist and a oculoplastic surgeon.
