What you expect after Cryopexy surgery?

I had a cryopexy surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago. I go back to work after couple days, i start seeing couple floater which the doctor said is normal after surgery. Is that normal start seeing more retinal detachment sign? which i hardly saw it before? When I go to my yearly check up they discover I had a hole. After 1 1/2 week surgery I start seeing  flashing light happen once a day and a floater like a piece of hair once or twice a day? is this normal? Thank You

Is pain weeks after surgery normal?  I went to retinal specialist last week who says the pain is related to dry eye associated with allergies but I've had allergies all my life and never such pain as I now feel, on the side where I had cryopexy for the tear.  It is excruciating at times.  It's been 4 weeks since the surgery.  How long should I expect to be in this pain please?

No this is very atypical. Pain is usually mild, almost a discomfort.  Dry eye symptoms would be in both eyes, almost never is excruciating and is relieved at least momentarily with artificial tears. Consider a second opinion with another retina specialist.

Why don't you call your surgeon's office on Monday and express your concerns.

Thanks for your input. I'm just worry getting worst and need another surgery. My next follow up appointment is this Thursday. I already have retinal detachments , the surgery to prevent the fluid going to my center vision, if this not working they gonna do a buckle surgery :(
