When is the right time to get the shunt done ?

I have a Pseudo tumor and this is getting very depressing.I'm having migraines even though I'm using Topamax.I'm taking 200mg. a day but it's not working.My first spinal pressure was 35 and that was 4 months ago and I'm getting another one tom.Is that fast to be getting the pressure back already..My side affects from the Topamax are horrible memory loss,can't concentrate,lose balance,sleepy,joints hurt (mainly my back)maybe from pressure too.I'm also on Diamox also 1,000 mg a day but the pressure is still going up..I am 30 years old and I have lost 30 lbs. now and I really just want this to stop or I want a break at least.The spinals give me horrible migraines that put me in the hospital and I have to stay 1-2 days on morphine.What do I do?When is it okay to say enough is enough?And is this going to cause any brain damage waiting to do the shunt while I'm having migraines for weeks at a time
(I'm talking 2-3 weeks at a time)?

You will need to rely on your neurologist, neurosurgeon and ophthalmologist to answer that question. Remember pseudotumor can cause complete bilateral blindness so do no ignore their recommendations.
