Where to get autologous Serum Eye Drops made?

My opthamologist referred me to a doctor at Bascom Palmer Miami to get Autologous serum eyedrops made.  But, I am looking for a job in another state and don't want to keep the oppt if I'm moving since I figure there will be follow ups.

My question is, does anyone know if its easy to find doctors in other cities who do make these serum drops? or are there only a few doctors around the country doing this?  From what I've seen online, it sounds like maybe its kind of hard to find one.  

Also, has anyone here had success with these particular types of drops?

I suggest you see the doctor at Bascom Palmer for at least one visit.  You need the opinion anyway to see if the drops will even help you and of course you need to have a doctor that is able to get drops made for you.  I personally, don't know how to properly make the drops, and I don't know who does, but I imagine you just spin the blood in a centrifuge, off the serum and keep it refrigerated.  I suspect you would have to make many individual vials because one vial once used and opened would become contaminated quickly.  Anyway - make sure you go to Bascom Palmer.
