White bump on eyelid

I woke up this morning around 9:00 am and I was fine.  By 10 or 10:30 I had this white bump on the inside of my lower eyelid.  It doesnt really itch now, but it bothered me a little kind of like an eyelash in my eye when I first discovered it.  Anyone know what this is or what I can do about it?  Can I see my regular doctor or do I have to see a specialist?  I was laid off and have no insurance or income right now, so any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.

You can use warm compresses and artifical tears and observe it over the next 24-48 hours. It it gets tender, red, painful and is looking worse then I would suggest seeing a Eye MD ophthalmologist.
