White bumps and soreness

I haven been getting little white bumps on my eye lid and one even on the lash line. I was wondering if these could be in relation to the soreness I have been getting in the same eye in the area along the inner portion of my eye? Are they serious or do I not have to worry about them? Any ideas on the cause of the soreness?
