Carmel find an eye MD near you at www.aao.org and go see them for a proper diagnosis.
JCH MD
BTW CaramelPocky, as the doctors in this forum will surely recommend, please go see an eye MD (not an optician) if your symptoms continue. I'm in my 40's, a myope with latticing, so I'm a candidate for vitreal detachment, but your diagnosis may be different considering your age. Keep us posted.

Me as well, although in my case it starting after having a retinal hole repaired via laser surgery (photocoagulation). It occurs several times a day...sometimes a series over the course of an hour and then it goes away for a time...only to later return. I've described it as a white blip in my peripheral vision, and like you said, it moves quickly and comes and goes in the blink of an eye. My eye doctor and two retinal MDs have examined me and see nothing unusual. I'm due for a follow-up appointment next month, but am concerned that it continues daily. Would be interested to see if this is something besides what I am told is vitreal traction.
