White line and flash in right eye when I move it or blink.

This happens in certain lighting conditions (bright light, when looking at a white wall or curtain, when in the shade on a bright day). This never happens in the dark or pitch black.

When I look to the left and blink I see a sort of line in my peripheral vision. It's only visible for about half a second and then disappears. I'm not sure when it started and may have been here for a while but only started noticing it a few months ago.

The second thing is a similar looking bright or dark horizontal line in the bottom of my vision which occurs when I look up sharply. I'm pretty sure this has only been in the last 3 weeks.~

Both things only happen when I make an eye moment.

I went to an ophthalmologist clinic 2 weeks ago to get it checked out and they looked extensively for any retinal problems. I then was asked to come back 2 weeks later for a check up and they compared the two pictures of my retina they took (with dilated pupils). There was a sort of small line that the doctor pointed at and said 'that's just your eye', but nothing has changed so there's no problem, you're completely fine, relax.

Well it's been a week later and I'm still seeing the same flash line when I look up in my right eye... I'm just pretty worried about it and I don't speak the language here very well, so couldn't communicate that well with the doctor.

My eyes are also extremely dry for the past 3 months when I go to sleep. My right eye does feel a little tired and strained.

If anyone could shed some light that would be amazing.

Dry eyes would not cause this. Use the search feature and read the many posts and discussions about treatment of dry eyes.  It is likely you have become aware of a normal 'entopic phenomena"   Internet Search that and read about. Section on wikipedia is good.
