White of the eye is discolored
I have a student that is diagnosed with Down's Syndrome.  I noticed today that the whites of his eyes are discolored....blueish gray.  Is this a sign of something more complicated?

It could just be a thin sclera (white of eye) which lets the darker choroid under it show through. You might mention it to the mother to see if she notices it also. Down's patients need yearly eye exams because they are prone to a number of eye problems.
