White without pressure

White without pressure

Well, I went to my doctor, and they said that I might have "white without pressure". I was wondering what that was. So, do you know what white without pressure is? Is it serious? Can it be treated?

I am not a retinal specialist but my understanding is that it is a harmless appearance of the peripheral retina seen in some people.  It is usually of no clinical importance and I'm not sure why your ophthalmologist mentioned it to you unless to tell you it was nothing to worry about.
