Wierd eye problem...

For about a year or so now, I've had this strange eye problem. It appears there is something wrong with my central vision. When I look into blue light, such as an LED from my laptop, I see this dark circle in my central vision. It almost appears if there is a brighter circle within a dimmer one. I also experience "sparkles" in my central vision When I am exposed to bright light and then look away from the source. I am really scared. HELP
