Yag surgery post cataract

Where does the break up from the PCO go? ,  Is it removed from the eye?,   or  does it just dissolve naturally withing the eye?

The YAG laser opens the hazy posterior capsule behind the lens implant.  This will occasionally create small fragments of the posterior capsule, which settle down into the vitreous gel behind the implant and are usually not noticeable.
