Yellow Eyes

by Starz22, Sep 01, 2008 10:16AM
A few days ago I realized that the lower part of the white of my eyes (under my eyelid) were turning yellow.  The yellow has calmed down a little bit, but now there are a few red blotches as well.  It is much more severe on my right eye than my left.  I have been working 60-70 hour weeks for the past 5 weeks, so I wasn't sure if this could be from exhaustion/malnutrition.  What is causing this???

I would recommend that you see an eyeMD to determine the diagnosis and obtain treatment as needed.  A yellow appearance of the white part of the eye may represent liver disease, resolving hemorrhage, and gallbladder disease.
