abnormal VEP

abnormal VEP

My 12 yr old daughter has continuous migraine, leg pain, she also ocassionally has ataxia, all her MRIs , done 3 times are fine, nerve condcution tests and muscle tests are also OK, no problem ever detected.

SHE has myopia----
the eye glasses she was wearing was for R-2.0, L-1.5,
And VEP test results came out as follows:

Electrode    N75      P100      N145
  Lo-Fz       89.1     127.2     200.70
Oz-Fz         88.2     124.2     210.00

Ro-Fz         80.4     120.6     165.00

NOw we are clueless---her neurologist did not comment as its Ok,
THE eye doctor whom we asked to conduct this test did not know about the test at all. It was then conducted in the neurology dept.

Later we found taht her eye sight has been improved to  R-1.5 and L-1.25.

SO at teh time of test she was wearing wrong glasses.

NOw i have following questions:

1) what does abnormal VEP represents?
2) does using wrong eye glasses result in getting her so prolonged result.

3) does her results show that she is experiencing brain damage some where?

4) what further tests we can ask doctor to do?

Any more comments and suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Glasses have no effect on the test. I cannot interpret the test results. See a neuroophthalmologist. JCCHMD
