accomodation in iol's

not really a question.  have fixed focus iol's.  one is focused at infinity, the other at 24 in.  i can focus the left eye down to about 10 in. and the right (infinity) down to about 18 in.  this is hard but i don't have much problem reading standard print w/o glasses. this was a clinical trial called "clearlens".  the left side is acrylic and the right . silicone.  the silicone side has considerably more scattered light than the acrylic.  it has gone down over time.  i got the backs of the capsules cut out to reduce cells.  right now, i have a hair like object stuck to the back of each lens at the edge of the field of view.  these are somewhat irritating but don't affect vision.
