acute atopic conjunctivitis

I have been having red itchy eyes sometimes they burn I went to the doc he said it was an allergic reaction he prescribed olopatadine drops they are too expensive is there any over the counter Med I could try, im also pregnant so I need something safe for pregnancy

Okay Doc I ended up getting the olapatine drops but they don't seem to be working my eyes haven't changed I been using the drops for about 3 days now. How long will it take to heal?

The least expensive and safe option for you at this time would be preservative free artificial tears (OTC) and cold compresses. This will provide temporary relief. Change your clothes from going outside to inside, wash your hands and shower regularly as this may decrease the allergen exposure. Best of luck to you.
