air soft shot to the eye

9 hours ago i was playing air soft and stupidly i wasnt wearing eye protection and got shot in the eye, there is blood in my eye but it just settles to the bottom of the iris. my vision is extremely blurry and i could barly see, when i went to bed i eleavated my head and tryed to place it in a 45 degree angle. after waking up i have some vision back were i can recognize things out of the eye but its still blurry. i was wondering if there was anything an eye doctor could to to fix my eye.

oh and forgot to say that its almost like i can see fine but there is something cloud covering my eye. dont know if this helps

That sounds like a serious injury called a hyphema. EIther find an eye MD on call that will see you today or head to an emergency room NOW.

if you still here can you tell me if my vision will get better because as time gos on im slowly able to see better. and i was pretty sure it was a hyphema and from what i read if i keep my head eleavate the blood will settle out

No I can't tell you that. SEE AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST. HYPHEMA CAN CAUSE GLAUCOMA, CATARACTS, CORNEA DAMAGE AND LOSS OF EYE. Hyphema often rebleed. They are often asscossicated with other serious problems like retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage,   You are fooling with your signt if you do not have this checked out.

thanks for the help on monday im going into the eye doctors like you recommended since there not open today
