babys pupils not reacting to light after dilation drops

my 5 month old had his pupils dilated due to suspected viral nerve damage to his right eye, his right eye doesn't dilate. the drops were put in yesterday afternoon but still both are fully dilated and don't react to light, is this normal? and when will they return to normal?

It could last a day or so. If not better after 24 to 36 hours call his doctor.  Cyclogy drops can  can easily last a full day and longer in some people.  IF atropine was used it can last a week sometimes.
