badly Swollen eye

hi, i just woke up & my eye is badly swollen left eye, & after wakeing i couldnt open my eye it was sealed shut until i cleaned it & it opend a bit. it was a bit itchy lastnight & kept producing a green "scum" like & infection which i kept removing & went to a chemist & they gave me some eye drops called BLEPH-10 which i have used about 5 times. ANY IDEAS

This can be a bacterial conjunctivitis or infection of the eye.  I agree with the member’s comments that you need to see an eyeMD.

you should see an eye md or go to an eye infirmary as soon as possible. If you notice any vision loss or siginficant pain you should consider it an emergency.

all is ok went to the doctor about 3 hours later & got eye drops that have got ris of the swollen eye & stoped the infection should be all cleared in about 2 - 3 days. thanks
