binocular double vision (diplopia) after trauma

During a rugby practice game I was thrown face first into the ground. I received a minor concussion and cracked a bone that was supposed to be supporting my right eye. It's been 7 days since the accident and even though it was a minor fracture, I still have double vision because everything I see with my right eye is slightly slanted downwards compared to my left one.
I consulted three different doctors and they had mixed diagnosis. One of them said that there is a risk of my right eye slowly drifting downwards over time as the bone might fail to support it so my pupil would not match my left one. She thinks that I might have a permanent binocular diplopia as well. Another surgeon barely looked at my CT scan and said it should be fine.
I just turned 17 and I'm not sure if the chances of having such problems is great and if I do have such problems could surgery fix it? Please help.

Dear Luke_n,

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD specializing in oculo-plastic surgery to determine whether you have a fracture and whether it requires surgical intervention.  It is better to obtain treatment early, within the first 14 days after injury.
