bleed inside the eye

I have diabetic retinopathy.  I had massive laser done nearly 20 years ago.  Since that time , occasionally I will have a "bleed" an hemoragh in the vitreous part of the eye.  it does not obliterate vision but it makes me see through a haze until the blood settles.  I had been to the Retina Specialist and they saw no unsual vessels growing in the retina, and the retina looks pretty good to them.  There is slight swelling of the macula (macula edema) as I'm getting older.  could that be the reasons I still have occasional bleeds?  I really  hate them as they often leaves floaters and debris in my vision.

Keep in close touch with your retinal specialist,  You have a history of proliferative diabetic retinopathy and the bleeding you are describing is a result of that - despite all the laser treatments.  You must have some very fragile, sensitive vessels back there that like to bleed easily.
