blinking eyes in my toddler

My daughter is 2.5 years old.She is got blinking since 10 days ago.She love children channels and she watch TV every day almost 4-6 hours.She is very smart and sensetive.Her father has blinking for long time as he study very much.Can you guide me about this?

Yes, she needs to see a pediatric ophthalmologist. Sudden blinking can indicate anumber of eye problems. Find one near you at www.aao.org

my son is 5 yrs old and has started blinking for the past 15 days. I went to pediatrician and he gave some multivitamin syrup and has advised me to see an eye doctor after a week if required. he loves to play computer games and he used to sit in fornt of the computer and TV for about 4-6 hours a day.  Can this be because of eye problem or because of tic. I am much worried. He is very active and bright boy in his class.  Please advise me

It could be either: an eye problem or a tic.  Needs to start with a complete medical eye exam by and Eye MD ophthalmologist
