blinking eyes

My son is 20 months old and he is blinking his eyes uncontrollely. He never had a problem with his eyes  before.I'm very worried about it I don't know if I should send him to his doctor or to eye doctor.

Have him see his pediatrician first and then a pediatric ophthalmologist.  There are some conditions that cause this type of blinking - like a nervous twitch that cannot be stopped.  Sometimes it is just a normal, temporary thing that will resolve on its own.  I, of course can't tell which it is so see the specialist.
