blue light and macular degeneration

blue light and macular degeneration

I am 48  and have been having vertigo, dizziness and decreased vision for about 6 weeks now. Vertigo improved on meclizine. I have worked with phototherapy lights and blue photo lights for years. Last year exam was normal. This year I was diagnosed with severe dry macular degeneration. The ASMD grid shows double lines, shaded areas and wavy lines. The retina specialist wants me to watch grid daily and if no changes come back in 6 months for antoher exam. I am not sure if this is related to blue lights or if there is anything I can do to reverse this damage. Any help would be appreciated!
