blurred vision

I had cataract surgery on my right eye with an implant of the Alcon Acry sof foldable IOL with UV blue light filter.  I am having blurred vision and it has been 26 days since surgery.  I am also having halos at night.  My  surgery was complicated by the fact that the lens capsule tore and the lens was placed in front of the lens capsule.  Is it possible that the lens capsule is causing the blurred vision?  Any thoughts on what I should do?  Is a second opinion in order?

Yes the capsule could be the problem but it should be easily visible to the surgeon. Asking for a second opinion would be appropriate if you would feel better.

I'd definitely get another opinion.  If you live in the US, you can use the directory at www.aao.org to find a board-certified surgeon.
