I have had botoxBotox Botox cosmetic several times now. TwiceTwice-a-day it caused a temporary ptosisIngrown toenail Ptosis Ptosis, drooping of the eyelid (drooping eyes) for a few weeks. During which time I developed a lot of webs and blobs in my vision. Been to opthamologist 3 times now for tests. Opth said that botoxBotox Botox cosmetic can not cause floaters. It is just age related (now 54). I find it very odd that in all three instances of having botoxBotox Botox cosmetic that I developed floaters within a few days. One website I found linked botoxBotox Botox cosmetic to retinal detachment. Have you heard anything about this? If botox freezes or relaxes the muscles could it cause floaters? Could ptosis cause floaters? I am desperately trying to seek answers to this. Botox will deny any findings if I contact them.
Sorry, but I can imagine no way that botox or ptosis could cause floaters, unless you decided to vigorously rub your eyes to try to make it open up. Let me know if you discover anything to the contrary.
