brain tumor or lazy eye?

I have a healthy 4 year old girl. Recently, for the last 3 months, I noticed her crossing her eyes. Last night I asked her what is wrong and why you looking constantly down and not at me. She bursted in crying and said she can not stop her eye from crossing. I think this symptom has progressed in occurance as she says more often "I see a two of you".
I am so worried. I know I have to see a doctor rigth away. Do you think there is a chance this is a brain tumor. I can not think of any other symptoms, but she has never had any eye problems in the past.

After reading your opinion I did more research on "accommodative esotrophia" and yes it looks that what it is. Next week we are seeing a doctor. Thank you so much!

It is much more likely to be 'accommodative esotrophia" due to farsightedness than a brain tumor. Be sure you see an Eye MD ophthalmologist that does pediatrics. Treatment is usuaslly glasses often bifocals.
