I'm 15, indian with fair skin and dark brown eyes, but i'm not sure if that makes much of a difference does it? I know there is no way to remove it other than surgery, but is there a way to prevent it from spreading? please let me know soon, thank you.

It all depends or what it looks like, what type of skin color you have, if the lesion is changing etc.  If it is a new, growing lesion on a fair skinned person that would be more suspicious for a possible malignancy.  Regardless, you need to see an ophthalmologist in person to have your individual question answered.
