busted vessel under eye
I woke up this morning and had a busted vessel, or a dark purple in color mark under my left eye. Can you please tell me what maybe caused this or if it could be more serious. I feel like it is just a busted vessel. But it must have happened overnight because it wasn't there when I went to bed last night and washed my face. HELP!

Likely it is but the question is why did it happen. If there was no injury then a cause should be sought.

No, this is under the eyelid on the skin. Do u think it could be a bruise or busted vessel?

It its on the eye they are generally not serious. Use the search feature and read about "subconjunctival hemorrhages"
