can i use my contacts when i have red spot in my eye?

I just bought new contact lenses, used them for one day (whole day) and got really red, veiny eyes.  The eye store said it's because my eyes are not used to it and try them slowly. I did not use the lenses the next day and my red eyes were becoming slowly better. then suddenly in the evening i got a red spot on my right eye, does not hurt at all. I was planning on using my contacts the following day for a few hours. My question is, is it ok to wear the contacts even though i have a red spot?

No - I would not wear them until you see the prescribing eye doctor.
