cataract surgery

I had cataract surgery, he put in implants and said he corrected stgmatism. before my vision was 20/50. less than a week after surgery on one eye, it started leaking and he  said he had to put it stiches so I went back to get that done again same eye.  three weeks later he did the other eye.
afte 8 weeks I still could not see good everything blurry. and could not make anything out at a distance. Today he gave me presciption for glasses and says vision ws 20/200 in both eyes on prescription. he said he 20/70 was the best he could do.  I CAN BARELY SEE WHAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG AND IS THERE ANOTHER DOCTOR WHO CAN CORRECT THIS. HE HAS RUINED MY EYES UNLESS HELP IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE

Hello girldog  You need an independent second opinion from an Eye MD physician that does cataract and IOL surgery. You can get another name from your personal physician or you can go to www.aao.org and use the Find An Eye MD feature to find a Eye MD in your geographic area. The sooner the better. It is highly likely that you can be helped. Do this very soon.
