cataract

i had cataract surgery lens implantation 7 months ago. is it safe to sunbathe without sunglasses?

It would be safer if the implant has UV protection.  If you know the model, I should be able to tell you.  If the IOL has no UV protection then I would always wear sunglasses when sunbathing.  If it has UV protection, I would still recommend sunglasses but it would be up to you.  It is the long term effects, from repetitive exposure that cause the most problems, so a little sunbathing now and then would not be a huge problem. But how are  you going to  look cool and sophisticated?
