chalazions drained

chalazions drained

I have had two charlazions drained almost 2 mnths ago. I am on bacitraicin oinment used nightly along with an oral antibiotic. I understand that this is due to blepharitis and wash my eyes twice daily with baby shampoo with my fingers cause other things feel to harsh and still use hot compresses twice daily. My questions are this (if anyone could answer I would be very grateful) the one I had on my lower corner bottom eye lid has gone away other then some redness which I am assuming it is from the surgery, how long will this redness stay there. My chalazions made it to the surface so it did drain a little on its own. I then had one appear on my other eye upper lid which cause a huge lump to which I had drained also. There is still a bump not as huge I was told it will not go away, but will it get smaller? Also it still has this little bump on the eyelid part that seems to get white then goes away on and off, why is this? And just one last question how long and I suppose to use this eye oinment, I was not told how long to use it nor do the directions say other then apply before bedtime...it seems to irritate my eyes sometimes.
Thank you very much and hope that someone can help me with these questions.
Blessings of Love and Light

By two months the effect of the surgery should be complete. You should probably return to see your Eye MD surgeon. You may require an injection of steroids into the smaller bump.
