child with cupping

I have a 9 year old female child who has cupping without any family history of glaucoma.  Could a precipitous birth have caused pressure in the eyes resulting in damage to the optic nerves? Just looking for possible answers to why.

We almost all have cupping, its normal. Most people are 40 to 50% or less. But larger amounts can be normal.

My opitc nerve have 40% cups.

Just follow with good ophthalmologist. Go to Google Images to see what optic nerve cupping looks like most is "normal physiological cupping" not "pathological cupping
