clogged pores

I have developed lots of clogged pores on my upper eyelids and one on each of the lower lids.  The determatoligist said there is no way to prevent them and no way to remove them.  What do I do?????????? Ann

I would try warm compressed daily and a lid cleaning pad like Ocusoft original or Ocusoft plus on a daily basis if the problem is with the lid margin.  If the problem is on the skin of the eyelids I suppose you could try the same treatment but I really don't have a lot of experience with treating skin disorder (rather than eyelid disorders.)  Try oral flax and fish oil and perhaps oral doxycycline could help.  If  you have milia, then I really don't have much advise for you.  Talk to a second dermatologist.  I find it hard to believe that there is nothing that can be done.
