closed angle glaucoma

I was told by my eye Dr i have closed angle glaucoma......but i also suffer from optical migraines....the symptoms are very similar with seeing halos and stuff and pressure in the eyes i have no doubt with my eye Dr that i do have this glaucoma and will need surgery....but how does this affect my optical migraines and now im wondering if i ever had optical migraines or was it just the glaucoma?

The two conditions are not related so they are coincidental.  Attacks of angle closure can be mistaken for migraine. Treatment is laser iridotomy. If your "migraines" were really angle closure attacks it will eliminate them, if they are true migraines they will be unaffected by the laser surgery.
