collapsed bones in left eye!!!

collapsed bones in left eye!!!

i sent a question few days ago concerning loss of field vision in left eye and mentioned i went for an emergency CT scan. got results from my doctors at health centre today and all he could tell me was my brain is alright (not always lol) but have collapsed bones in left eye.... he told me to get in touch with the doctor that referred me for scan at hospital... don't understand what this means?? have never heard of this before and would really appreciate getting advice on this and if its treatable????? im so scared as i suffered a detached retina couple of years ago resulting in getting my left eye clamped and my right eye lasered. when i went to hospital they told me there was nothing wrong with my eyes!!!! but after convincing them i got a field test confirming i have lost field vision in half my left eye!! please get back to me asap as im getting no joy trying to contact the doctor in hospital and my GP wasn't helpful apart from telling me the results from CT scan!! thankyou....

This may involve the bone around the optic nerve.  This would explain the loss of visual field.  If so, it needs to be treated ASAP.
