constantly watery eyes

by ArtIsResistance, Jun 10, 2007 02:07AM
I have this really embarrassing problem which i'm scared there's no way to fix. it's where i'm always aware of myself and everything i do especially around others, starting from low self esteem and confidence etc,  and this eventually lead to my eyes. just by thinking about my eyes, they became watery and its became an embarrasing problem. so now everywhere i go my eyes become watery because i can't just forget or not be concious of my eyes esp now that its become such a big problem. does anyone know i can do, cause it makes me afaid to use much eye contact and the problem spreads to other people who i see constantly or even just people i'm talking to. any help is greatly appreciated

The only suggestions I can make are:

1. A complete, comprehensive eye examination by an ophthalmologist (EyeMD). Be sure to outline and discuss your problem. It's important to rule out a real disease causing this problem like dysfuntional tear syndrome.

2. If your eye examination is normal you may need to see a psychiatrist to deal with your low self esteem.

Good luck
