corneal scratch during cataract surgery

corneal scratch during cataract surgery

I was operated on August 31st 2009 for cataract surgery in my right eye.I am still having blurried vision in that eye.  Band aid contact lens was put on the third day post surgery but was removed next day due to acute pain in the eye. After couple days scratch reopened ,causing acute pain , redness & an sensation of foreign object inside the eye. Blurried vision continued. Band aid contact lens was put for another five days & removed . Three Opthamologists each M.D  FRCSC  in the same eye care centre have seen my eye. retina dislocation ruled out. Corneal edema diagnosed. I am taking regulary prescribed eye drops vigamox & Muro 128 three times a day but still  having stickiness in the morning in the bloodied red eye, pain at night. Blurried vision most of the day which improves to some what vision I would say about 70%. I am not getting staight answer of my situation & when would I have 100% clearvision in my eye as was promised to me before operation.I have Glucoma which was treated with eye drops 3 years ago following laser surgery about two years ago to correct the pressure in my eyes which started building up again in end Jan09 this year but no treatment was given from Jan09 to August09.I am taking xalatan eye drops every night since post cataract surgery.Pl advise. Thanks
