corneal ulcer

I have had some discharge form my eyes for about two weeks it had gotten better or I thought so.  Yesterday my eye had got worse puss and red,Last night I felt like I had something in my eye it was awful my eye are very red.  I saw a dr. who said I have an ulcer, gave me Ciprofloxacin. I felt better for abot 3hours  using the drops, but I still feel like there something in my eye, its started watering again ands is painfull.  Is this "normal" could she have miss an objcet in the back of my eye?  How long will it take for the drops to cure me -if they do. I am also taking Septra oral.

A ulcer on the eye is potentially very serious. You should be under the care of an Eye MD ophthalmologist physician. If not see one immediately. Find one at www.aao.org  If you did see an eye MD call the office and go back in today for an repeat exam.
