Dr. Oyakawa has posted elsewhere on this forum that he has implanted the Crystalens in patients who have had RK, with good results. (Check recent older threads.) If you very much want the Crystalens, you'd want to find a surgeon who was very experienced with this IOL and has had good results previously with post-RK patients. Given Dr. Hagen's warning (above), you might want to get more than one opinion before proceeding. A mini-monovision correction (distance vision in dominant eye, intermediate vision in non-dominant eye) with aspheric monofocal IOLs might give you results similar to the Crystalens with fewer risks.
It is generally NOT a good idea to have any type of multifocal or accommodative IOL put in after RK because of super-giant glare/dysphotopsia that might develop.
