Scleritis and episcleritis in the right eye since Dec 22 2008.Med's did not work so right eye was injecyed with steroid.Result the pressure in my right eye went up to 36 so Dr removed the steroid.Very painfull and sore.Pain worse than the scleritis. How long with it tal\ke for the eye to heal? The drops to lower the eye pressure sting on the eye.Why does the drops sting? Can the detached retina heal itself? My eyes are 51 years old and time to cure.nin77ca

You need to ask your doctor who removed the steroids.  I have never done this.

Many drops sting and your eye is probably inflamed after the surgery increasing the likely hood of stinging.
