diplopia after squint surgery

diplopia after squint surgery

hi,
I developed diplopia about four months ago (I'm 30) and had some strabismus surgery about 2 weeks ago.  I'm however still experiencing double vision especially when I look up or to the side or when reading.  Will this go away with time or will I have to live with this for the rest of my life or need more surgery?  Or will vision therapy help?

It should get better with time unless the double is severe.  Ask you surgeon these questions.  It is hard for me to make a prediction without your preoperative data and your post operative progress.
